The Late Window
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 9 September 2026
The Late Window is an email newsletter about the NFL, written for readers in the UK and Europe. This page explains what data we collect and what we do with it, in plain English.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you subscribe. That's the core of it.
- Standard email engagement data (whether an issue was opened, which links were clicked), collected automatically by our email platform.
- Anything you send us when you reply to an issue or contact us.
What we use it for
- Sending you the newsletter you signed up for.
- Understanding which content readers find useful.
- Answering your messages.
We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers. If an issue carries a sponsor, the sponsor never receives subscriber data.
Who processes your data
- beehiiv — our email platform, which stores the subscriber list and sends the issues.
- Our payment provider (merchant of record — currently Lemon Squeezy; Paddle if we move to it) — if you buy a paid subscription, they handle the checkout and your payment details; we never see your card number.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe any time using the link in the footer of every email — it takes effect immediately.
- Ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing us. We'll act on it within 30 days.
Cookies
This website uses the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd) to measure whether our Facebook and Instagram adverts lead to newsletter signups. It sets cookies and sends page-view data, and a signup-confirmation event, to Meta. Meta's use of that data is governed by Meta's privacy policy; you can opt out of ads personalisation in your Facebook ad preferences. Our signup and checkout providers may set functional cookies of their own, governed by their policies.
