The Late Window
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 26 July 2026
The Late Window is a paid email newsletter. This page explains exactly how to cancel and when you can get your money back. We've kept it short and generous on purpose — if the newsletter isn't worth what you paid, we'd rather refund you than keep it.
The short version: cancel any time in one click, and if you're unhappy within 14 days of your first payment, email us and we'll refund it in full. No questions, no forms.
Cancelling
- You can cancel at any time — there's no minimum term and no cancellation fee.
- Use the link in your Paddle receipt, or simply email [email protected] and we'll do it for you.
- After cancelling you keep access for the rest of the period you've already paid for. You won't be billed again.
Refunds
- Within 14 days of your first payment: full refund, no questions asked. Just email us.
- Charged by mistake — a renewal you meant to cancel, or a duplicate payment: tell us and we'll refund it, whenever it happened.
- If we stop publishing mid-season: we refund the unused portion of what you paid. You shouldn't carry the risk of us not finishing the season.
- Later in the season: email us anyway. We handle these case by case and we lean towards saying yes.
How to request one
Email [email protected] from the address you subscribed with. You don't need to explain yourself, though we always appreciate knowing what went wrong. We reply within two business days, and approved refunds are processed straight away.
Refunds go back to your original payment method. Your bank usually takes 5–10 business days to show it.
Who processes the payment
Payments and refunds are handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. Your receipt comes from Paddle, and refunds are issued through them. You can also raise a billing query directly with Paddle using the link on your receipt.
Your legal rights
If you're in the UK or EU, you have statutory rights covering digital purchases, including a 14-day right to cancel. Nothing on this page reduces those rights — this policy sits on top of them.
