The Late Window

NFL International Series 2026

London gets three of them.

Two at Tottenham, one at Wembley, across three straight October Sundays — all kicking off at half two in the afternoon, which is the most civilised the NFL ever gets for British fans.

London has hosted NFL games since 2007, and by now the routine is familiar: an early Sunday afternoon kickoff, a stadium full of mismatched jerseys from all 32 teams, and a crowd that cheers punts. In 2026 the city gets three games in three weeks.

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium hosts the first two. It was built with a full NFL pitch underneath the retractable football surface — the only stadium outside North America designed that way from the start. The third game is at Wembley.

The other 18 weeks

Then the NFL goes back to happening at 4am

The European games are the easy part. For the rest of the season the schedule is brutal on this side of the Atlantic: the Sunday late window kicks off at 21:25 UK time, Sunday Night Football at 01:20, and Monday Night Football finishes around breakfast on Tuesday.

That's what this newsletter is for. Every Monday at 07:00 UK time you get the whole weekend — every result with the story behind it, the plays everyone is arguing about, the injuries that matter, and which games are worth losing sleep over next week.
